Autism First have developed a framework for their development and delivery of truly autism specialist services.

The framework which has incorporated, recommendations from Autism Accreditation, the White Paper - Valuing People, the Care Standards Act, and aspects of Person Centred Planning, clearly describes the underpinning philosophy and the basis on which we operate all of our services.

Each building block of the framework clearly informs staff practice and is critical in ensuring a high quality supportive and valued lifestyle for all people who access or reside within our services.

It is our belief that the development and implementation of this framework will provide the following functions:

- An autism specific quality measuring tool for use by both ourselves, our purchasers and customers
- A reference manual and guide for all of our specialist staff - autism practitioners which will further enhance and support development of Best Practice
- A clear statement about our ability to deliver high quality cost effective services
